“Secrets to Dog Training” addresses two types of biting behavior: fear biting and play biting. Our dogs do not fear bite. Alex and Chico do not bite at all. (They do lick a lot.) Lil Maya still nips a bit at our fingers like a puppy and will pester Alex persistently, nipping him on the neck and ears. We do not feel that her nipping at our fingers is frequent enough or hard enough to worry about. We will leave it to Alex and his pack instincts to correct Lil Maya's transgressions.
